Emotions and behaviours can be complicated. They can also be difficult to communicate, especially for children and young people who do not always have the language or confidence to express themselves clearly. Being a parent of a struggling child or young person can be challenging and stressful, leading to feelings of helplessness.

Therapy provides the opportunity to make sense of the difficulties with the help and support of a trained professional who can listen, observe and work alongside a child or young person in a safe and non-judgemental space within a containing relationship, and provide guidance to the parent with compassion and empathy.

No-one should feel unsupported.
